When
The run is always held 2 weeks after the ASRF Nationals. For 2001 this is the 27th -29th of April.

Format

This is a 2 1/2 day event. Starting with a bench session at the Racecourse on the Friday night with a sausage sizzle and drinks for entrants. Saturday morning is fairly laid back with a cruise to Cerberus Naval base for lunch and a look around in the afternoon. There's also kids games and some novelty events for the rodders. Saturday night is back to the Racecourse for a Rock 'n Roll supper dance featuring Itchy Fingers.

How to get there

From Melbourne, head south along St. Kilda Road, which turns into the Nepean Highway and just follow it all the way to Mornington. Then look for the signs to turn off to the left at Mornington - Tyabb Road. Another left turn at the roundabout at Racecourse Road and your there. Travelling time should be less than 1 hour.
