This is easily Australia's biggest swap meet, it has been calculated to visit every site you would travel 18 kilometers! There are in excess of 2,500 sites. Located on the un-used portion of the Ballarat Airfield, part of the old strip is used for display of vintage, veteran, hot rods, customs and collectable cars driven to the event and those for sale.

A 3 day event, starting on the Friday, continuing on the Saturday and finishing on the Sunday.

How to get there

From Melbourne; head out on the Tullamarine Freeway, and onto the Calder Highway, follow this all the way to Ballarat. When you get to Ballarat, go right through town and to the outskirts on the other side, turn right at the sign for Ballarat Airport. From there you go about 5 k's and turn left to the car park.
